Our Marquees

The 2 Types of Marquee we offer....

1. Framed/Clearspan Marquees

Instead of centre poles and guy ropes, these tents are supported by an aluminum skeleton around the edge which means more clear space inside the marquee. These marquees are suitable for almost any ground surface and as a rule, so long as you have the space available for the size of the structure you require, it will fit into the site.

All of our marquees are made from flame-retardant PVC and are manufactured in accordance with BS5438. They have a guaranteed wind loading of up to 50 mph.
Framed marquees are 20’ (6m) or 30’ (9m) wide and they can be as long as you like – extended in 3m sections. All our marquees are white and have a simple classic design. The larger marquees (9m) are 2.3m (7’ 3”) at the eves and rise to 3.9m (12’ 6”) at the apex. All the side walls can be easily opened should the weather permit.

For larger events framed marquees can be joined together. This can mean the joining of a catering annex to the main marquee or a completely separate dance marquee for those special events to create a really sensational effect.

2. Traditional Marquees

Traditional marquees have a centre pole which supports the structure and gives the marquee its traditional shape. It has guy ropes to support the construction. These marquees are only really suitable for a grass site.

Our traditional marquees are all 12m (40ft) wide structures and range from a 12m length up to 40m.
Traditional marquees do require slightly more space than a framed marquee as extra room is required for the assembly of the marquee structure. Generally a traditional marquee requires a minimum of 1m/1.5m (3ft/5ft) all round, in addition to its size, to allow for the erection and guy ropes.

Interior linings

Our interior linings are Ivory roof linings with pleated ivory walls and swags. Swags can also be ordered by special arrangement to match your colour scheme.
All of our linings are flame resistant and manufactured according to BS5867 and BS5438 standards.
We also supply Starcloth linings (small pea lights in a black roof lining) and black out ceiling and wall linings to create a special effect above your dance floor or throughout your marquee.

We work with a few personally selected, professional and local banqueting hire and special effects companies so most furniture, crockery, glass ware, catering equipment and special effect items can be sourced even if we do not stock the items ourselves.
